Shelters That Need Your Help

When picking out a pet to join your family, consider the smaller animal shelters around Montana. “Most of the small-town shelters in Montana have wonderful dogs—they’d be so happy to get a real home,” says Pam McCutcheon, owner of Small Dog Realty. She named her business after the animals she helps, and even donates 5% of her net commissions on every house sold to local animal shelters. “Without funding, these shelters need to keep two or even three dogs in a single kennel.” All of these locations happily accept any donations, whether it’s supplies, money, or your time volunteering with the animals.
