Huffing for Stuffing

Here's a way to earn your giblets this Thanksgiving: do the first annual Big Sky Wind Drinkers' Huffing for Stuffing Thanksgiving Day run. Yes, before you put on your "fat pants," run the 5K or the 10K race—the registration fees and food donations benefit the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, and it's a good way to keep your exercise momentum as you enter the holiday season. It'll also keep you extra thankful for the meal you'll go home to that day.

The out-and-back courses stretch roughly from Old Highland Boulevard to Lindley and back. We already feel bad for the poor sucker who is scheduled to run in a full turkey costume for the kids' half-mile race. But watch out: the turkey is running in the 5K too—if you "smoke the turkey" (finish before the turkey does), you win a prize (and we hear the bird's pretty fast).
