Adventure Indoors

The Adventure Film Festival comes to Bozeman.

Try as we might to make the most of winter, sometimes it's just two darn cold for outdoor activities. What better way to stay stoked for outings to come, than by catching the latest adventure films?

One day, three film tours—that's what you'll find at this year's Adventure Film Festival on Saturday, January 20. You can choose your favorite films to watch, or get a screamin' deal on access to all three for just $40, available in each ticket link. Here's the rundown.

Fly Fishing Film Tour

The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) has showings at 5pm and 8pm. This series showcases a top selection of short films that are sure to get you fired up for the fishing season ahead. Features include delving into the science of marlin conservation, fishing for peacock bass in the depths of the jungle, and a steelhead story with characters as rare as the fish itself. F3T is proud to be an annual community event for all anglers. Come for the action and stay for the prizes.

Kendal Mountain Tour

For an afternoon screening, check out the Kendal Mountain Tour at 1pm. With breathtaking landscapes from around the world as a backdrop to daring feats of courage and tales of human resilience, you're sure to find inspiration from the big screen. Seasoned explorers and nature-lovers alike will have their senses ignited with a renewed appreciation for our home planet. Throw in some prizes from affiliated brands, and you're in for a thrill at the Kendal Mountain Tour.

Women's Adventure Film Tour

Going on eight years, the Women's Adventure Film Tour features an exhilarating selection of short films that showcase the inspiring journeys of remarkable women who fearlessly pursue adventure in various fields. This year's tour, starting at 11am, promises to captivate the audience with incredible stories of determination, courage, and triumph. Unlike traditional adventure films that focus solely on extreme feats, this tour aims to inspire everyone to step outside their comfort zones and challenge their boundaries. It's a celebration of bravery, perseverance, and indomitable spirit.
