Review: Saucony Peregrine Shorts

When the summer heat hits and it is time to show off those pasty lower limbs, there are no better shorts to do it in than the Saucony Peregrine 6-Inch Shorts. Made for running, these shorts are comfortable in a wide variety of settings: everything from high mountain trail runs to casual pavement jaunts. With a six-inch inseam, they are a nice middle ground in terms of length. They are light and breezy, while still covering up the parts of my legs that make folks look the other way. My favorite feature is their moister wicking ability. During a recent spring outing, I got drenched by a typical Montana storm that blew in out of nowhere. Once the sun came back, they dried right out after a mere 30 minutes of jogging around. Add in the zippered pocket in the back and reflective logo for safety, and these have become my go-to shorts for running. $75; saucony.com.
