March
33rd Handicap Run – 5.4, 3, or 1.1 miles. Run with a handicap time determined by results of February’s Froze Nose Run.

April
Wounded Warriors Project, Helena – 10k, 5k, 1 mile; masochists can run all three. Proceeds benefit woundedwarriorproject.org.
Grizzly Peak Adventure Race, Red Lodge – ski 2.5 miles, bike 6.5 miles, run 2.5 miles, and drink as many pints as you can in Sam's Tap Room at the finish.
Peaks to Prairie, Red Lodge – this locally famous adventure race includes a run, bike, and paddle. Solo and team events.
33rd Back from Bridger – distances of 17.5, 12.5, 9.7, 7, and 3 miles. Starts at Bridger Bowl.

May
Baldy Blitz – run to the top of Baldy and back. Usually plenty of snow!
Don't Fence Me In, Helena – 30k, 12k, and 5k trail runs; fundraiser for the Prickly Pear Land Trust.
Peets Hill Hustle – a varied 5k through Bozeman. 522-9087.
24th Frank Newman Marathon and Relay – the hardest way to get to Livingston.

June
Lewis and Clark Marathon – 26.2 miles; ends at the MSU stadium. lewisandclarkmarathon.com.
Wulfman's Continental Divide Trail 14k, Butte – this point-to-point, singletrack race runs from Pipestone Pass to Homestake Pass. buttespissandmoanrunners.com.
