Biathlon in Bozeman

Some combos just seem right—peanut butter and jelly, Jack and Coke, and now in Bozeman, skiing and shooting. This season at Bohart Ranch, thanks to the efforts of the Bridger Biathlon Club (BBC), Bohart pass holders will be able to test their mettle at an all-new Olympic-caliber shooting range. “We’re hoping to bring a refreshing excitement to the community’s Nordic skiing,” says Carol Clarke Smith, BBC co-founder and board chair. To get people started, BBC will host “Try-It” days that include free equipment and instruction. New members of all ages and abilities are welcome, but kids are especially encouraged to participate, and a junior program for single-shot biathlon will begin after Christmas. BBC is donor-funded and the range is volunteer-staffed, meaning there is no additional cost to the trails pass. To learn more about BBC, check out bridgerbiathlonclub.org.
