Review: Railblaza C-Tug

One of the most challenging things about kayak fishing is transporting the considerable size and weight of the boat from my vehicle to the water’s edge. When fully loaded, my boat weighs well over 100 pounds, and at 12 feet long, it’s awkward to move around. Thankfully I have the C-TUG kayak trolley from Railblaza to help me out. The C-TUG is molded from non-corroding, lightweight, and high-strength polymers, including its stylish puncture-free wheels with hi-grip rubber tread. This allows me to tow my kayak and gear (up to 300 pounds) to launch locations I’d only dreamed of—and trust me, I’ve put the C-TUG to the test. Brilliantly designed, the C-TUG fits any canoe, kayak, or small boat, and assembles or dismantles in seconds without any tools. Once disassembled, I conveniently stow it in the bow of my kayak and take it with me wherever I paddle. $150; c-tug.com
