Review: Point Success Jacket

Few things make a Bozemanite as giddy as a brand-new winter fleece. It’s our security blanket, a grown-up version of the Woobie from the movie Mr. Mom—except that we’re not giving it up for anything. This definitely holds true for my new Point Success Jacket by Eddie Bauer. In addition to being warm and fitting like a tailored blazer, this fleece looks sharp and is incredibly soft, making it a cozy mid-layer for far-flung excursions and in-town jaunts alike. The integrated Polartec Wind Pro blocks cold breezes, and the Power Stretch fabric keeps it snug and trim against your sides, yet allows for flexibility when you need it. The jacket also breathes well, which completes the formula for a great mountaineering and backcountry skiing fleece. $100; eddiebauer.com.
