Market Maker

The Bogert Farmers' Market has quickly become one of Bozeman's premier summer events and it happens every Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 pm, starting June 2. This is the seventh year for the Tuesday-evening event, though Bogert Park has hosted farmers' markets for over 30 years.

The market offers a wide variety of arts, produce, dinner options, children's activities, music, nonprofit exhibits, and more. This family-oriented market is a nonprofit itself, working to restore Bogert Park, and space is limited to 100 vendors in order to keep the setting intimate and manageable for patrons.

Each week there is live music and the City Band starts an eight-week run on June 23. In addition, every week two different community groups, such as the Museum of the Rockies, the Children's Museum, and Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter, showcase their organizations and in turn host the "Family Activities" offering.

If you are interested in helping out with the fund-raising effort or in donating to the project directly, contact the market. For more information about the market, vendor availability, sponsorship, or any projects in the park, call 539-0216 or check out bogertfarmersmarket.com.
