The first annual Mountain Music Youth Benefit on June 30 is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon helping disadvantaged kids, listening to local music, eating, drinking, and spending some quality time with your family.

Live music by local favorites including the Tall Boys, Jessica Kilroy, and 10 Foot Tall & 80 Proof will keep the toes tapping. The little ones will also be entertained with arts and crafts, face painting, hula hoops, and other activities. A massage/reiki booth will be available for those interested in relaxing, and expect great food from local vendors and plenty of beer. All this makes the $5 to get in well worth it.
Outside Bozeman magazine and the Bozeman Watch Company are sponsoring the event, which supports the Youth Dynamics Incorporated Foundation. YDI is a nonprofit, Montana-based foundation whose goal is to help children and their families overcome behavioral health issues by providing therapeutic care, especially to children affected by foster care.
YDI has been helping Montana children and their families for over 25 years—founded on the principle that “every child deserves a family.” The Mountain Music Youth Benefit is a great way to show support for an organization that is helping Montana youth.
The Benefit takes place on June 30 from 12-6 pm on the Emerson Cultural Center lawn. Anyone interested in becoming a donor can contact Lindsay Leadbetter at the Bozeman Watch Company (570-2692) or Ashley Lusk at Outside Bozeman magazine (582-8068). There will be a catered reception and silent auction at the Bozeman Watch Company to thank all the donors the night before the benefit . The remaining items will be auctioned off at the benefit.
