Top Dog

Who’s Bozeman’s best beast? Nearly a hundred dogs clawed their way toward the coveted Top Dog title this year, and picking a winner wasn’t easy. We saw, and read about, it all—four-legged fly fishers, dock divers, snow runners, lake swimmers, duck hunters, rock scramblers, mountain climbers, paddleboard riders, trampoline jumpers, even mine sniffers. Check out the best here, and view the full photo gallery in the Community section on outsidebozeman.com.

Best Outdoor Video

It’s that time again—time to strap on a helmet-cam, head outside, and make that movie that’s been reeling through your mind’s eye all these years. Whether it’s a day of cliff-hucking at Bridger, sledding at Peets Hill, wildlife-watching in Yellowstone Park, or just a cool time-lapse of southwest Montana’s many amazing sights, we want to see it. Winners score loot from the fabled O/B Treasure Chest and fame on outsidebozeman.com. (Check out the Community section of said website for contest rules and info.) So what are you waiting for? Get outside and start shooting!

Best Beardsicle

What happens when two of Bozeman’s proudest traditions—fluffy powder-skiing and thick, luxurious beards—collide in front of a camera? Fame and fortune, that’s what. We’re looking for southwest Montana’s most badass beardsicles: the frozen-on aftermath of shredding deep powder while sporting an unruly facial mane. Submit a pic of your frostiest face-pelt at outsidebozeman.com by February 15 and you could find your smiling face featured in our spring issue—after enjoying a quick rummage through our prize pile, of course. Now drop that razor and head to the hills!

Editor’s note: if you’re having trouble with the online form at outsidebozeman.com, send email your images to [email protected].
