Formed in the mid-1980s by a handful of die-hard hockey enthusiasts, the Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association (BAHA) is a nonprofit organization that provides the Gallatin Valley with affordable, high-quality organized youth and adult hockey programs. Growing with the community, today BAHA consists of approximately 500 members.

BAHA operates on a refrigerated rink under the Haynes Pavilion at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. The pavilion and rink were completed in 2000 with considerable support from the City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, the NHL Players Association, and area businesses. The hockey season runs from November 1 through April 1.

The rink is open daily, and area residents and visitors are welcome to attend public skating sessions. BAHA requests public skating donations of $3 for adults and $2 for kids, which can be deposited in the kiosk or paid to an attendant. Fees go toward the operation and maintenance of this community facility. Skate rental is available at Main Street Army Navy. Sorry, no sticks or pucks during public skating.

Ice rental is also available for private parties and groups throughout the week and on weekends. For weekly ice schedules or to learn how get involved with BAHA, log on to
