Review: Oboz Mendenhall

The accepted look for an official Bozeman Outdoor Guy calls for adventure apparel at all times, but must we really be prepared to hike Granite Peak at a moment’s notice? Some days are town days, plain and simple; and when I’m stuck in the office or running errands all day, I like the Mendenhall by Oboz—and not just because the Outside Bozeman office sits on that very street. This is a lightweight, casual shoe that looks good and fits well, but still has an earthy, rugged element—which may help prevent a downward slide from outdoor guy to overworked urbanite. $120; obozfootwear.com
