Review: Redington Sonic-Pro Waders

When the water’s warm, it’s hard to beat wading out into the river and feeling the water rushing around your legs. But in the spring, the brisk temps require a little more protection from the elements. Thanks to the Sonic-Pro Waders from Redington, I can still get out to my favorite spots despite the chilly water. The welded construction and double-taped seams keep you nice and dry. And just before my hands go numb, I can stuff them into into the pockets lined with brushed micro-fleece. My favorite features were all the bonus pockets hidden in the chest of the waders, allowing me to keep all my necessary gear in reach without needing a separate pack. Available at Montana Troutfitters and Bob Ward's. $300; redington.com
