Bozeman Creek

Well covered, hard packed but still a great ski considering the current snow conditions.

Trails Behind Costco

Really good for classic skiing, good coverage and no dog poop.  Be prepared to remove your skis at road crossings, though.

Packed powder, things are great. Quite a bit more snow up draw to Yellow Mountain.

Hyalite trails

Hyalite is skiing really well, we have a decent snowpack up there.  The trails have been well packed and some are even being groomed.  Currently the best x-country skiing we have right now.  Just watch out for the people post-holing on the tracks, they are still out there hunting x-mas trees.

Crescent Lake Trail

has been groomed and skiied but watch out for short patches of ice where the sun has melted the snow and then it has refrozen.

Hyalite trails are skiing the

Hyalite trails are skiing the best of all our xc trails due to having the only decent snowpack out there right now.  Unfortunately the warm weather is creating a freeze thaw on the trails making for a bit trickier skiing right now.

Lindley trails (north of hospital)

Adequate (but barely) snow cover.  Groomed.  Do a snow dance while you're out there!

Brackett Creek

Brackett creek actually has enough snow for some decent xc skiing right now, was best this Sat. right after the fresh snow.  Went up there on Jan. 3 and it was alternating between icy spots and soft spots making it somewhat tricky.
