Cost: Free

Details: It’s time for Congress to support our public lands and waters. Join Montana Wilderness Association and our allies at Bozeman’s Cherry River Fishing Access Site to show that Montanans believe in full funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). LWCF has provided over $600 million for our public lands, trails, playgrounds, ball fields, fishing access sites, and more in nearly every county in Montana. It’s helped provide access to public lands, keep our communities healthy, and support our outdoor economy.

Why, then, hasn’t Rep. Greg Gianforte committed to supporting full and permanent funding for LWCF? Sen. Jon Tester and Sen. Steve Daines have both sponsored a Senate bill that will fully fund LWCF, but we’re still waiting on Rep. Gianforte to stand up for the future of LWCF and Montana’s public lands by supporting a companion bill in the House

Come down on your lunch break to get loud and show Rep. Gianforte just how much our public lands and public waters mean to you.
